David and Jo Retallack, the owners of Retallack Quality Kitchens, have over 50 years of kitchen design and kitchen fitting experience between us, so we can create bespoke designs to suit your lifestyle and property.
We are one of the few remaining independent kitchen companies in Cornwall, and even trade under our own name, Retallack, which is of course Cornish
From your first contact to completion, you will deal directly with us. Creating a seamless experience for you. We offer a complete project management service. We only use trusted tradespeople who are highly skilled and experienced.
Our personal approach has resulted in hundreds of completed kitchens in our local area around St Austell, Cornwall. All very different. Farmhouse, classic traditional, cottage, modern. We can deliver whatever style suits you.
We offer a home visit service so you can start your kitchen journey in the comfort of your own home. However, you are welcome to visit us at our base between the historic town of Lostwithiel and the picture postcard village of Lerryn where we have a kitchen showroom.
For out-of-county customers, our suppliers have showrooms available in the London area and are more than happy to show you around on our behalf

Our company was founded in the early 2000s. and has continued to evolve over the years with a passion for creating both functional and beautiful bespoke kitchens. Our Pricing
We pride ourselves on fair and transparent pricing, which means we can manage your budget.
We like to source our kitchens from UK manufacturers. Although we have preferred suppliers, as we are completely independent, we can source whatever is required at the right price for you without compromise on quality.
We can deliver high-end timber kitchens, but due to our experience, we can also create a similar look at a lower price point.

How We Work

Visit
We start with David making a site visit to see the room or rooms, take dimensions, discuss your requirements, and understand your wish list of what has to be included in your bespoke design. We can supply appliances, and even move windows and knock down walls!
Initial Design
We then complete your bespoke design, provide you with a 3D visualisation, and invite you to visit our showroom to talk through the design in more detail. You can then finalise your finishes and colours, and fine-tune your design. You can then see and take away samples of all your choices.
Pricing
Once your design is finalised we will provide you with a quotation for the complete project. All our kitchens are high-quality and bespoke; however, we can cater to most budgets depending on your requirements.
Confirmation
As soon as you are happy with your bespoke design, we will discuss your installation date, deposit, and produce a detailed schedule for you, allowing you to plan emptying all those cupboards!
Installation
David and Jo will stay in constant contact with you, prior to and during your installation. We are all house trained and do our best to keep dust and disruption to a minimum. We even bring our own coffee!
Completion
On completion, we will give you a detailed handover of your new kitchen and make sure you're completely happy. Final payment is payable on satisfactory completion of the project.
